Incompatible sound file

I´ve here a 10s sound clip (wav) and i tried everything to convert it to mp3 but the editor always say: This does not appear to be valid sound file

I tried every possible bit rate from 40 to 128, VBR in several settings, Mono, Stereo, Joint in 3 different programs (at least one used the lame codec) - runs perfect in winamp but i can´t get it work in warcraft 3 -.-

Ok here is what you do: Get Audacity(a free audio editor) then open your wma, then just export it as an MP3. That will work 100%.

It´s a wav but it worked . That was the 5th program i tried and finaly...

But why get i 163 compile errors when i import that file and trying to save it?

That's pretty odd...try seeing if your sound works in GUI.
