Hello. I was wondering if there was a tutorial on just importing triggers. I tried to do so, and failed miserably  Does anyone know how to do this, that would love to teach me?

Well... I've tried this before. Update your warcraft. Go onto battlenet, or download it from blizz' website ;) also, if you're missing variables, go into the 'map preferences' under the files tab, i think it was, and find the 'create unknown variables when pasting triggers' box, and check it. It should help. The name may be a bit incorrect, but, well, i did it from my memory. ^^

If you export triggers then you also export all the variables.

This is what i recommend you to do if you don't have a lot of variables currently in your map:

1. Export all triggers with your current map.
2. Create a new empty map and import those triggers.
3. Export all triggers on your other map which has the "new" triggers.
4. Import those with your old map.
5. Put all the triggers in your "empty map" in one category.
6. Copy the category to your map which had the old triggers.
7. Copy/recreate the variables from your temporary map to your old map.

This is how i would do it.

Okay, but all i wanted to do was import the triggers. I think it may have something to do with the variables, though When exporting / importing with mpq, i thought the variables come with it. Am i wrong?
