Importing custom characters

i have a problem in tutorials here and others it says i have to import 3 files? .blp, .mdx and (portrait.blp) But every model that iv'e downloaded i only get 2 files the normal blp and mdx no portrait, i import everything and change the path and my character is invisible in game? need help ^_^ now i must be off to sleep landddd

Some models dont use portrait files as they have a camera to stimulate a portrait.
