Yours truly has single-handedly sorted through the 140+ pages of imported maps that came along with wc3sear.ch I'm glad that it's over, but it was a semi enjoyable experience, as I got to see a lot of popular maps I know of go from beta to the latest versions. Anyway, if you find a map (perhaps one that you have uploaded) and it has been placed in the Ignored section, and this is wrong, then by all means send me a PM and argue your case. If your arguement is valid (I make mistakes, you know :p) then it will certainly be moved to the appropriate section. The same goes for maps that have been approved that are utter garbage and should be in the Ignored section. If you find any of those, then do bring them to my attention, explain why it doesn't belong where it is (or just link to it if it's horribly obvious) and I will make further judgement as to whether it should be moved or not. Enjoy the new maps section :)

Yeah, it took me a long time... and talking to Ralle on MSN during most of it was most likely the only reason I was spared from insanity :p And Fl4mes, do you feel like adding comments for 3000 something maps? That's what I thought. Comments might be added later, and the identification tags will be fixed slowly too. Some of them are accurate, but others are way off. Regardless, it's done, and now we can approve new maps, instead of rifling through a clutter of sear stuff.

For the new submissions, I would like to try to test them as much as we are able. Maybe we can try to organize a group to test-pwn on bnet? I think Rui might be interested as well.

If we have an idea what the maps are like, our comments would be well informed and we might be able to provide the creators with some valid consumer feedback.

Yes, I'm also trying to get Ralle to input the reputation system into the resource section. He likes the idea, and I think it'd be a good way to encourage and reward people for uploading their content. I agree about the map testing thing, though. We want to pick through the new submissions with a fine comb, where with the sear maps, there was so many of them that it was basically sorting crap from not-crap. We'll see what happens for organizing a test group, I for one am for it as long as we standardizr a time and dates beforehand so I can clear some time on my schedule :)

Hello? Before evry map was placed into the Non-Approved (waiting for approval section) I then took all 3000-something of them and sorted them into either the approved section or the ignored section. You try sorting through 140-something pages of that mess and see how you like it. It's not an easy task.

Oh I see, geuss I owe you an apology. But I was thinking that they would be organized by type and stuff.
