Ideas for next texturing competitions

I suggest a certain model this time... maybe the arachnathid.

Perhaps a choice of models.

I have looked into doing UI before. There are several textures to it. You can put them all together. Texture em then cnp them back into their original pieces then alter alpha. I suggest someone ask Umwirklich (damn his crazy name) to make a small tut that would be linked to the competition rules. Also, seing as how all this might be tricky and take contestants a little time to understand how to do it, I think there should be a preliminary week to week and a half. Contestants would do simple modifications (or however much they want to) and import them into the game. If they are having trouble, then other contestants who have figured out how to do it or the contests host, could help them out.

I would say a combination of the model contest and texture contest.

Make a model...and skin it.

Loads of fun.

You could call it..The Twelve Verticies of Christmas Competition....or something more clever than that.

Ok well, we don't HAVE to do seasonal contests, the Halloween one was made because people voted for it

Contrary to popular belief, there is more than one hemisphere. Christmas + Summer = Awesome. So I vote against a winter theme.

I would like to see, perhaps a competition where you can only skin any one of the tavern heroes? Maybe limit it to a few of them, but possibly include the tinker, because I haven't seen many interesting skins for him.

Either that, or don't listen to me. I make no sense

Hmmz...I propose a combination competition...that way someone can make a Menora candle wielding ZOMG!!!

But what about a competition theme about making something "cute"...it sounds like a fun break after the Halloween competition, and other competitions that are geared towards making the character powerful and Epic.

And if it would be made it should be a month or two long, as it's a very big texture to reskin.

Those are my best work, haven't textured at all after the monk. Have done some icon work for the Phoenix Trial 1 though.

Why not snow/ice creatures? Like those from northrend or icecrown? Or anything snow-ish.
