I need info on game files

I'm new to these forums and didn't know where to ask general information of you could link that topic I would thank you. Since we are here. I am working on a translation/localization to warcraft 3, since our country doesn't have it. Where in the files are the menu, abillity and quest texts?

In the old days the files were in the war3local.mpq and war3xlocal.mpq archives. More recently they are in a "_locales" subdirectory.

Thank you. I know the main directories, I mean what name under i find the cutscene and quest texts. Because in locales there are quite a few files, which not crystal clear to me.
