I need a quick explanation please

I haven't been using this for years now, but here I am trying to build a map in worldedit.

Now my question is, since the patch'es are updated, do I need to update world edit in some way also or?

Is there a different way of building the maps now, scripts etc.. ? or its all the same?

I'd appreciate an explanation thanks

No, as far as I know it's the same system of doing it, you don't need to update anything, it does that by itself.

Also, I don't think this is the right place for posting such threads, but that doesn't prevent me from helping.

It should update itself, when u close and re-open it.

World Edit is a part of Warcraft 3 and gets update with the game itself.

It's all the same, well maybe just a bit immproved in some parts, but if you want your trrigers to be more effective you can try to replace them with JASS programming.
