I Can't Use The Model Editor

Please help me out, I downloaded the War3MapEditor and unzip it to my desktop. Once I click on the War3MapEditor.exe it pop up a text.It said Unable to open"C://Program Files/Warcraft 3/War3Patch.mpq"Make sure Warcraft 3 is installed and the registry key"HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III/InstallPath"exsist. What should I do?

Go to your Warcraft III folder and put it in there. it should work.

Exactly what it says, move the World Editor to your warcraft folder and if that doesn't work make sure you have the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III/InstallPath", if you don't you either have to make it or reinstall warcraft.

OK, I was reading about it...I recommend going to this link-Blizzard Support I remember reading something where you can install the registry again and to re-install Warcraft 3. Try that and look around the site i provided for you. Good Luck!

Warcraft III Registry Fixer 1.0 - The Hive Workshop - A Warcraft III Modding Site

Try using this tool as it will fix the registry data on the game, and hopefully Model Editor will work.

Also, make sure you have the latest wc3 patch too.
