I cant get JassNewgen to work

I got the Jass Newgen pack and unzipped it like it said (7zip is a weird way to zip a file) and now if i try to use the program it says That "Worldeditor has encountered a problem and needs to Shutdown". Normal WE and WEU still work fine but the Jass New gen pack wont even start.

Caused by lattest WC3 patch.
You could search for the current only fix or wait till the next version is released which will be fully compatiable with the current WE version.

K, so the only real way to have it work is wait till the next patch? thx. Whens the next patch going to come out? Oh, and could that have caused an earlier problem where Warcraft didnt work at all? (I had to contact support to fix it)

No, next WC3 patch will do the same as what has happened now. you just simply have to wait till they update JNGP so that is supports 1.22. The next JNGP version should be comming soon.

Actually you can use JNGP with the new patch. Someone solved it at wc3c. It doesn't allow you to use the "test map" option, but other than that it still works.

It allow to use the test map option you just have to turn off grimoire.

Really? eh oh well. I never use the test map option anyway. It's easier to just have wc3 actually open.

Yes, read carefully how it is done thou.

It reverts the WE version to 1.21 if I am not mistaken so that it can load it properly.
