Ok, I used the Search Func. and really tried everything I could to find my answer but:

Is it possible to add a new race (playable faction) to the game?

I guess it's only possible to completly redo an existing race but that's all.

Again, sorry to ask, but I would like to have a final answer on this.

u got it correct, cant create new races unless u make custom models import them rename forces etc

Yea, there is no way.

I went around this by having race selector's in-game (the selected race only changes interface look & sound), make a remote area for the selection (but still mkae them invuln.), and then make circles of power + some way of finding info on each race.

you could alternativly use a dialog system after game initalizes, so it won't matter which race you chose before

Yeah, I think I did something similar this way before.

I let the human race start with a "pseudo"-townhall with 3 free and instant upgrades possible:
Human Townhall
Dwarven TH
Highelven TH

You had to use one of the upgrades to actually begin building creatures etc.

But since I had no idea about AI, the AIs never build anything.
Not that big of a problem right?

You could just give everyone a basic structure at start with an option of every race, than when they upgrade to to that race, set everything up as it should. That way you could have 12 Races..

(I called it "Broken Alliance". Human players had to choose between Humans, Dwarves and Elves).

If this isnt Closed yet, as someone stated (Correctly) Before, that you could lock the option so you could only chose Human (Or what so ever) before game start, and in-game you could make a Dialog for races- Example:
Human, Orc, Elf. And then sub classes
Human dwarf, Orc Chaos Orc, Night elf High Elf.-
And when you have chosen you unit type, you would add one build unit (Or what ever, again)
