how to add a race

basically i need to know how to make and add a new race to a wc3 map, and how to make it possible to choose a race in map selection screen, as i need this info in my project

I'm not sure how to exactly make a selection in the screen, but to make a race you just use say orcs, just change the model files of units and all their properties that you want changed, and tech tree and what the buildings are able to create.
