How to use models in a map

here is a question i have, im a noob in map creating and stuff, so, i wanted to know...how to use the models we can dl from the site in a map?

i already learned how to use the secret models that are in Warcraft III like the blood elf peasant and illidan imprisoned...so i think it must be kind similar...
