How to raise doodads!

Hey everyone, me again. I'm using UTM for terraining, and I'm having some difficulties with the doodads. The thing is, for example, when I want to put a candle/book on a table/bookshelf, the candle/book is to low, so it just goes under the table. Is there a way to raise the hight of a doodad? Select the doodad and then press and hold Ctrl + Page Up/Down.

You make a unit, change its model to "book" remove shadow, set scale, and make it a flaying unit, than you change its height for so long, until it fits on table.

ArneXis is right, if it's a doodad. I believe BerZeKer's suggestion would also work.
