How to make good custom cliffs

My custom terrain cliffs always turn out to be slanted. No matter what I do I can get them above a 60 degree angle, yet I see some maps that have almost 90 degree angle terrain cliffs, and it looks so nice.
If anyone can help me get my terrain cliffs to look less slanted, I would love you :).

it is a minor tweak to the world editor. the instructions on how to do it is on the terrain board section, under a stickied thread called misc terraining hack.
