How to make item ability? For example, DOTA's Shiva Guard ability? Why does the event starting the effect of ability is not triggered by item ability? Thank you.

Alternatively, just trigger your ability like normal then have the item use the ability. It'll still work. Just remember to put active abilities on top of the list.
