How to make an Icon for a model

Hmmm im not sure where to post this, but anyway I just wanna know how to make an Icon? Do I have to draw then or just take a picture of the model and just edit them, what tool should I use, is there a tutorial?

Use this.

The most you need to edit is the size of the image so that it scales properly.

And yes. If you want your own icons, just draw the image, resize it to 64x64 and use the program.

Now that I have looked into this tool it only converts the image into an icon, is there a tool that i can draw my icon then use this tool to convert into different icons?
