How to make a Region array? (NOT a rect array)

How can I create an array of Regions? (not the "rect" type, that wc3 calls "regions" in gui code)

But if it's a local array, won't it go away as soon as it goes out of scope? I need it to be global (like the udg_ variables)

Get JassNewGen then... You can get it and not use any of its features except the globals block if the rest of the stuff is too confusing. Plus you get a syntax highlighter, and who doesn't want that.

How does that stuff work? I mean... how can these 3rd party utilities change how warcraft 3 interprets code? (and how does this carry across to other computers in multiplayer).

vJass is a preprocessor, meaning it compiles into plain Jass.
I high suggest getting JNGP and making use of vJass.

I makes everything extremely easy.

Grrr... I can't use it. Virus protection says there's a virus in there (I know there isn't). The shitty virus protection software the university forces me to install on my computer (or else I can't use their internet) is quarantining the files, and I can't put up an exception.
