How to make a active ability into a passive ability or auto cast ability?

Iv been making custom skills using triggers for awhile one thing that i dont understand is how people make passive abilities or auto cast abilities. can someone show me or explain to me how?

they based the ability on the same type of ability, creating a passive ability based on passive ability

hmmm, you said you want to make a custom skill using triggers right ?
it doesn't matter if you're basing the ability with Bash or Critical Strike, it's just a template, the effect of the Bash or Critical Strike will be empty, you are the one who will trigger all it's effect.

well then how do u do that? caz in the triggers they have unit begins casting a spell or unit use effect of a spell and the channeling, one which one is used for passive? u cant cast a passive skill

for passive abilities I highly recommend basing it off of Attributes, if you set to 0 you will have passive ability that does truly nothing, no stuns, no crits no nothing

but yes you cant change active ability to passive or autocast which is shame :/

very clever, but it has a few issues, but its definitly best option for on hit procs abilities(lifesteal, crit etc)

orb of lighting? i dont think the orb allows u to attack 4 enemies in one hit does it?

believe it can, you can make any ability to proc, there is tutorial where chain lightning was used
