How to limit your hosted game to classic mode players?

Is it true that when I host a map and have configured the classic mode, others with HD mode might join? Can I restrict my map to players in classic mode? Otherwise, we always have players who lag or have long loading times.

Yeah. There's a preference in the map settings to force SD mode for all players.

EDIT: If you mean to force it in the lobby, then no, I don't think so. Seems to be entirely up to the mapper.

they think they will fix everything just in time
just wait for it until you gave up on wc3 completely

Well I can't even open my map in HD mode in the editor but I am not sure if I want to force everyone to use it in SD mode

Might be worth distributing two versions then - an SD-locked one and an SD/HD one.
