How to limit wards

Hi guys any ideas how to limit wards by 4? Let say I already placed 3 wards, then I placed another, how can I make the 1st ward that has been placed disappear

You can try my test map. It was originally for a request that I never properly finished but it still has the functionality you're looking for. Just make sure you only level Q once so that it sets the limit to 4; otherwise it becomes 6/8/10 for levels 2/3/4.

store wards into unit array
once increment reaches 5, kill 1st, shift every other wards by 1
also you'll need to track wards normal dying in this case

or

store spawning time inside every ward
on placing gather every ward, if there are 4+, find oldest and kill it
