I want players in my map not to see the clock in the upper-middle of the screen at all, and I also don't want it to display what time is it now when a cursor is hovered over it.

Is there any way I can do that? Do I need to override some textures? And how do I prevent it from displaying game time when a cursor is hovered over it?

The thing I'm talking about is a round disc, that you can see between the Gold, Lumber and Food and Chat, Menu, Quests, which is golden-shiny at day and dark-blue at night.

Hmmm, i dont think that this is possible. Maybe you can hide the clock when you hover the mouse over it, by going to advanced-->interface. Try look a bit around there, but i really dont believe you will find anything.
