How to get a custom model for trees and more stuff.

Hi.

Im having some trouble with the custom models for trees. I want a tree like this, http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/sapin-49919/?prev=search=Tree&r=20&d=list&page=3. But when i use it all i can see is a greenbox. I dont want it as a doodad, i want it as a destructible.

And the other stuff is, how could i make my terrain more "alive"?
