How to detect a Unit has Died?

Well take some init, set your unit in variable, then take your trigger:
Use event as Unit - Unit dies (Generic)
And I guess Conditions
(Dying Unit) or (Triggering Unit) equal to your variable unit...
And then your actions...

Better ask paladon on this (or make it jass, if it's a short trigger)

EDIT: No need for jass, saw it and used a local to reset the global after the waits (see trigger).
