It's useful maybe for noob terrainers, but for advanced and skilled is total useless, I'm sorry. Too flat, and nowadays almost everyone uses custom trees and doodads in terrains, that are a lot better than the Lordaeron Summer Tree, speaking of Lordaeron Summer, it's a bad tileset, the most well suited terrain for forests is the Ashenvale one, of course, and even the Village terrain is better than Lordaeron Summer.

Good enough for simple stuff, good use of the LordS tileset, actually. It's hard to make good-looking stuff with it.
However, it's not very good when you compare it to the average terrain of the forum. (playable ones) Good start though.

Flat, maybe, but I have NEVER seen a single actually good-looking playable map, ever. Not on B.Net.

In my opinion, needs a lot more improvement to become approvabble.

An playable map with awesome terrain? The new Mathias Chronicles campaign, made by Med.Map Guy (as always) have one of the best terrains of the world. Check it into samods, there's a 3 chapters demo.

Lacks proper formatting such as a title and headers, use the

,

&

tags for these. However, I don't think this is material for the database because of several reasons:
  • It's not very detailed.
  • The terrain itseff that you are teached how to do in this tutorial is lacking in several things, such as the use of tilesets and no imports, so basically you are teaching people to terrain "the wrong way".
  • There are better terraining tutorials for beginners already in the database.

Nobody is picking on you. Your claim was you're pretty good at mapping, anyway.

We are telling you the things you need to fix in order to improve your tutorial.

Please don't ask for criticism when you are asking for compliments.

Everyone is trying to tell you nicely how you can improve on your terrain.

Frankly, nobody wants to tell you this, but it sucks.

Your cocky behaviour is appalling.

Nothing personal.
