How to copy paste a trigger?

hello people, I have a question

How do you copy a trigger from a map to another different map?
ive tried to copy a trigger from for example map A, but then it doesnt paste in map B

It does. However you need to go to File > preferences > Check "Automatically create unknown variables" otherwise it will.. be invalid.

It doesn't work if the World Editor is reopened before pasting (because it clears the clipboard). Could that be your problem?
If so, open up the map you want to copy from, <copy> the trigger(s) you want, go to File > Open Map, and <paste> them into the recipient map.

If you close WE and then open it again at map B, of course it won't paste.. That's like copying a file on your PC, shutting it down, and then turn it on again and paste the file..

It could use the operating system's clipboard, like text and a few other things do, but by chance it doesn't. Which I wouldn't say is terribly obvious
