when I import the HD model to wc3 old ver, the game does not show anything, it needs to convert to SD?
Yes because old versions of Warcraft III do not support the new MDX format.

If you mean when trying to play with classic graphics then that is due to the pay wall for Reforged as they wanted to mechanically separate the two graphic modes so it will not load the more advanced model format.

How to convert the HD model to SD?
With a lot of difficulty since Reforged models use a lot of features not available to Classic models. You might need to reduce mesh count for the classic engine to cope with them. You will also need to bake the material and normal descriptions onto the diffuse as well as try to interpolate some vertex normals. Without doing such steps the models will look bad even as far as classic graphics goes.

How? as I know 3ds max doesn't support MDX format
Is there a tutorial to explain this?

Retera Model Studio does it all, friend. No need to be an expert modeler in 3DSMax, Maya or any other Platform. There are plugins for 3DSMax that read the .MDX HD, but the work is not worth it. Use RMS to more easily edit your models and manipulate your textures, the only problem is that your polygon editing tool is a little limited for 3D orbital manipulation, too drastic changes to the vertices is a bit cumbersome in 2D visualization.
Use the most updated December package to RMS:
There is a tool in RMS that can directly convert a HD (1000) model to SD (800) with just a single click, but I believe it requires Wacraft Reforged installed... in case you don't have!
There are communities that share all Reforged models in classic format and even with TC, search the Latin American/Spanish Fcbk communities. Here at Hive there are Reforged ported models as well.
