Unit Scale off with Reforged grafics?

I just loaded my map with reforged grafics and noticed that some of the units are completly off in there unit scale.

Not only are the numbers different when I load the editor in SD or HD but the model aswell.
There seems to be a hidden stat that increases or decreases the number value from SD to HD.
But even if I could bring them to the same value in both versions it would not matter because the HD model is sometimes 2x the size of the SD model.

Is there a way to prevent this?
Or did I screw up at some point?

All I know at this point is that HD models weren't made to fit 1:1 with their original SD versions. This is crucial for walkable destructables (different Z-height!)

I've heard this sentiment that "SD+HD is not worth the hassle" but I'd too wonder if there's a way to avoid these discrepancies, assuming you know the difference between baked model sizes.
Pretty sure one could override scaling between SD and HD by having a separate unit definition in the MPQ (file path override) but this cannot be done without external tools and automation.

PS: Teeechnically, setting a different unit scale for HD players in Jass as a local-player block thing? Desync dangers intensify
