Outside of really tedious multi hardware of virtual machine approaches, you will need to find a new multi client loader if any exists. There was some talk that eventually such a feature might be natively supported.

Sanboxie works fine and easy to use. Free version only supports 1 more w3 instance but its enough for most testing

Didn't get sandboxie to work on my W10. Nor did I find any working loader.

I tried running W10 on hyper-v but WC3 crashes on launch on it. I ended up running WC3 on laptop, but I find this inconvenient.

What do you mean? If you mean it crashes on launch, you need to: sandbox settings -> resource access -> file access -> full access and add warcraft install folder to prevent sandboxie from sandboxing those files
