Hey there. I was wondering if someone had the same problem as I have right now.

I downloaded the newest patch. Downloaded a new Jass New Gen pack and well I did everything right but I'm not able to test map with JNGP anymore. If I press the "test map" button warcraft 3 crashes so it doesn't even open warcraft 3. The only way I'm able to test maps is to save them and then move them into a warcraft 3 maps map and open it inside real warcraft 3.

Anyone here having the same idea and maybe knows how to solve it? I had this before with the previous patch and the only thing that helped for it was reinstalling vista on my computer but I think that aint the perfect solution and I'm not looking forward to do that.

Im not real sure i got this right, but i know one thing: With the newest wc3 patches, the world editor has become more and more unstable in editing maps that are not placed in a wc3 map folder. That also affects map testing. Testing maps with the test map placed somewhere else than the map folder, and perhaps with another program than the world editor, can lead to crashes, strange bugs and worst of all: "Level data not found"*

This is what i know, and well. Perhaps im wrong. But its what my experiances and research tells me. (i got the same problem before i got to hive and googled it. I actually found something on it, but it werent very usefull.)

*if you dont know, it means that all map data is wiped clean, and that unless you have a backup, youre doomed.
