Hey guys, I'm just going to show you in a quick tutorial how to change your WarCraft 3 The Frozen Throne Main Menu.

Tools Needed
War3ModelEditor or any model editing program that can extract models from War3.mpq / War3x.mpq, etc.
An MPQ Editor

Before you start this tutorial, I advise to save a copy of War3x.mpq somewhere. If anything goes wrong, you'll be able to use that.

Steps:

1)
Find a suitable main menu for your menu -- UI\Glues\SinglePlayer\ has quite a few good ones, the campaign screens. I used the RoC Human Campaign one. Open your one.

2)
Save the model as "MainMenu3d_exp.mdx". Save it somewhere easy to find, so you can access it easily later on.

3)
Open your MPQ editor, and [if possible] change to explorer mode. This can be done in PowerMPQ_1.4, I don't know about others.

4)
Find UI\Glues\MainMenu3d_exp\MainMenu3d_exp.mdx, and delete it. Do not close the editor and open up WarCraft 3 at this time, else you'll have a black screen.

5)
Import the custom main menu file, and rename [if necessary] to UI\Glues\MainMenu3d_exp\MainMenu3d_exp.mdx.

6)
Test, if it works, then you've done everything right, if not, then you need to re-do it.
