No, it's not possible.
You can, however, replace the unit with a copy of it which has a different proper name. Items, stats, all those can be saved in variables.

Oh k thank you, i think i will go for a diffrent approach of having the players names as the hero's proper names, but than i come across the double up of name chance. i think i will just leave it as it is lol, thanks anyway
