How to add attachment points to a model?

And +1 question:
How can i detect the event: a unit begins casting an
ability, but i dont meen the regular wc3 one. I want to add
a sound+special effect during the casting time not at the moment
it throws the spell.

Thanks! Peace!

There are 2 spell events
Starts the effects
and Begins casting

If you use the latter, the sound you attach can fire if the player casts the spell and immediately cancels it

About the attatchment points.
Create a dummy ability based off an aura or something.
Set all the values to zero, and set the targets allowed to none.

If the item needs to be teamcolored, use the Life Regeneration Aura (neutral).
Using that as a base ability is recommended anyway, to prevent other things like the effects appearing on the unit or whatever. ^_^

Set "Art - Target" to the model you want to use as the attatchment.
Set "Art - Target Attatchment Point" to the location you want the attatchment to be.
Set "Art - Target Attatchments" to 1.

If you want multiple attatchments, use seperate abilities, because if you put them all on the one ability they will ALL be seen at the attatchment point.

For instance, if you put a hat and a sword together, and attatched it to the head and left hand, there would be 2 hats and 2 swords, at both points.

Here are a few attatchment points I can remember off the top of my head.

overhead
origin
chest
head
hand, left
hand, right
foot, left
foot, right

NOTE: For the ones with two names, such as "hand, left" they are seperate. Put them both in the field separately, and in THAT order (hand, left not left, hand).
