If he haven't I would bought 64-bit, but 32-bit runs good and smoothly this far.

Doesn't tell the processor type.... but if theres an Intel Sticker on it, and the Task Manager shows 2 CPU Usage Charts, its a Core2, otherwise probably Pentium M
