You can help them if you got the solution and write: This is solved. However don't double post.

Another thing: when people present solutions to your problem in the thread, test them and then reply, not the other way around.
Some people do that, but after editing the post, the thread is marked as read to me, so I will not look at it again.
Just in case, if you ever do that by accident, just double-post and I'll merge your posts when I check the thread.
