How do you edit a thread?

Made a thread a week ago for a WC3 project and I need to update the OP but I can't figure how. ???

Yeah, I don't know why, but the Edit button has disappeared for a few of my posts. I've tried logging in again, restarting my browser, still doesn't work.

Edit: Oddly enough, it does appear on this post though.

I'll post something here if I find any information. I think what happens is that you can't edit posts after X amount of time, try making a new post and then editing it quickly.

I also have this problem. I need to update my Spell Workshop, but I can't edit my post! Strangely enough, I can edit this post :/

1. Refresh your browser cache, could be the update not being loaded properly.
2. Editing old posts was blocked to prevent vandalism by former moderators who own a lot of posts in important positions.

I have no idea if number 2 is still in effect.

It is, I still can't edit my older posts. It sounds like a bad solution though, making demoted moderators only unable to edit anything would've been better for all of us.

Yea, would also be good. Those users who run projects, or have any kind of constantly edited threads in other sections are now stuck, because they can't edit the important posts.

You can PM a moderator of your section and ask them to edit it, they should be able to do it for you. (at least I can here, so I'm assuming it's the case elsewhere)
