How do I get a Black Map?

I want to get the intire minimap, and unexplored areas in the game to be completely black, it is like this in Monolith. I tried to look it up there, but I couldnt find out how. Anyone help?

Create a black 128x128 .tga image, import it and name it "war3mapMap.tga", now import it, and voilà you got a black minimap.

uncheck Scenario - Options - "Masked areas partially visible"

Or just make a black tileset.

I think there is a possibility in WE to hide the minimap display, in the scenario directory.
As for the unexplored, there is a trigger possibility in Visibilty- Enable black mask. I think that's it but don't be afraid to correct me.

Go to the map properties then options.
There you just turn off square "Masked areas are partially visible".
There no need for triggers.

Do you want explored places to be black as well? If you do, then do what Hoernchen said

He said like in Monolith.You can see minimap there but not places which you didn't explore.
