[General] How do I do Jass?

Sorry if I put this in the wrong section, but I can't read these sections, it would be nice at least to make it a lot more sense. Anyways, I was wondering, because I would like to make a map with Jass, but I use the codes from the website here. But every time when I drag the stuff I need, it seems to fail and if I change something in that map (like adding a character), it makes a error and when I use the world editor that was made for Jass, I can't test the map. Help.

Most of the Jass scripts requires a "special World Editor" called Jass NewGen Pack(JNGP). It
brings a lot of extra stuff in the WE, and you can download it from here.

If its made in JASS you can run it from the normal WE, but if it is VJASS you need the new gen jass pack that kala linked

Anyway, JNPG makes JASS easier with all the addons.

I said that in my earlier post, sorry if I didn't make sense but I was talking about JNGP. Anyways I still can't really do anything with it, can someone help me?

Well... there are several JASS and vJASS tutoriasl here in THW. You can also try creating some GUI triggers and converting them to custom text to see what's behind the "pretty interface"... and then try some ways to optimize it (like removing BJ's and using Native Functions, and Locals)

vJass just makes things easy, not an extra stuff...but to know more about things, I suggest you explore the basics of triggering in GUI...
