So... uhh... the third is the kanji for "person", amirite? And the third from the right is the... hiragana for the phoneme "no..."

I know a... slight bit more of spoken japanese. I never made much of an effort though, so if I tried to say anything it would probably turn out hilarious. And all I've learnt is from anime and visual novels.

You are right ! :D
So you are an Otaku ?

Haha, Exactely.

Hello guys. I would recommend that you read the rules. You are only permitted to post english messages on this forum.

Oh sorry, i have forgotten that .

I can only hope not, at least going by the tvtropes definition. Am I a weeaboo, then? Debatable. I like japanese material like anime and visual novels, but I wouldn't want to live there. I'm not polite, and I'm an individualist as well, which wouldn't be the best fit for the japanese mindset as far as I know.

One of my dreams is to learn Japanese and then visit Japan, using a translator would just ruin the whole experience.

Atleast I've started to pick up some words and I'm beginning to tell the words apart from each other in sentences now so its a decent start from only watching anime. xD

I use to visit Japan 4-5 times a year. And still I know only a few words in Japanese. :-(
Any Japanese girls here? Please teach me some new words/phrases. :-D

It just has to be a girl .

While I don't really have a fondness for asian girls, I am reminded of one I heard speak in school once. Her Swedish was heavily accented and sounded really smoky and sexy, which contrasted with her appearance in every possible way. Her English was completely neutral, though..
