Heros custom cost not working

In a map i am working on heroes cost 250 lumber but to revise them they cost 400. When you go to revise them, they are free to revise? Help please.

I'm sure he mean "Revive"
And why heroes are revived free depend on the constant.

I think you can go on the Unit panel in the Object editor, and change the field
Statistics - Repair cost and set it to 0

That's the problem they cost zero i want them to cost 250 wood to revive and zero gold.

If you're certain it's correctly set in the object editor, go check Advanced>gameplay constants. Maybe there's something related to hero cost there.
