Hero's abilities are disabled

For some reason, the abilities that the hero must be learned are disabled, even if it's at level 1. That happens with all the heroes on the map.

Does anyone have a solution?

Sounds like strange. Most people haven't encountered this kind of bug before.

Are you using the latest WC3 patch from Battle.net? I think there's quite an impressive amount of bugs that remain unresolved until Blizzard pushes an update to fix it.

Also, are you using a cracked (illegal) copy of Warcraft 3? Or the retail version? The site doesn't allow piracy, so I can't help.

Don't be too stingy. If you have a CD-Key from the past, just add to your Battle.net account and get the latest patch. There's still a few days left for this method. Otherwise, buy a game (it's not so expensive).

I already fixed it anyway, just now: it turns out that one of the custom abilities I created had the 'ahte', which matched a rare ability simply called 'Hero'. And I suppose I could change my mind, but I don't trust Blizzard because they might break the game in the next patch.
