Hello everyone 
Let me first tell you what my main goal is
Ressurect Hero Wars
So i want to bring Hero Wars into a high level of polish, adding several new improvements ( i hope ) to the gameplay. I asked myself what would really makes a good game for myself. And i came up with the answear, realism ( or as close as you can get in a fantasy game world ) and by that i don't necessarily mean high graphix, realistic physics engine or anything like that. What i really want is to bring the game to life as in add randomness
Like the witcher, I want to create something believable.
Now i love hero wars
but there is somethings which i definatly want to add into it
Soul System
First of all i want to add a "soul" system, like an alternative currency. When a player kills the enemy's hero he will be rewarded with a soul. This soul will have many uses, for example the player will no longer require gold in order to upgrade the troops but instead he will be able to utilize the soul for that purpose.
Bosses
Yes thats right i want to add some MMO feeling to the game, and bosses are something i always enjoyed about playing games. And i don't mean a big unit with big damage and a big life spawn. I want the bosses to be scripted, interactive. I want them to be interactive, somehow more real. They will be spawned in the middle of the map (the meeting point of the two forces) and will sometiems require cooperation of both forces to kill them. However i want every boss to be unigue, so this things are jsut guidelines.
Traps & Surroundings
Something i loved in many game such as Red Alert was the ability to interact with the surrounding. Take advantage of the situation your currenlty in. For example maybe your near a source of water, take a drink and it might clear your mind, giving you a speed boost. Or maybe there's someone on the map you just can't kill. But you see a fiery stand, you did your sword in the oil your swords becomes immolated and gives you bonus damage. Or you find something particullary strange on the floor, you touch it and you blow yourself up
Skills
Something which was always bugging me about spells was at certain points they became pointless. Such spell which deal defined damage in a long game become useless as the damage becomes minimal, so instead i want to make the damage based on a variable such as your mana, agillty or normal damage. And maybe we could evan use some spells which would require a soul.
So yeah there is a few things which i was thinking about. Right now am working on the game by myself, and i hope i will have a litle demo soon enough to show
As in game start, first dual and soon after the first boss fight. The first boss will be Helios, the God of the Sun.
Now i could use with some people to do this preject, and to have fun because that's what it's all about
I would need:
Terrainer
Just to make the map lively, though i might be a litle picky about what you do but don't worry i don't need someone super advanced just someone who knows what he is doing
Spell Maker
Oh yeah i definatly need this person
I want the spells to be diffrent so they stand out and aren't just all reskins
I however don't require for the spells to be able to be used at the same time by multiple units since they will be hero specific, all i need them to be is pretty, bugless, and leakless.
Additional Triggerer
Okie so i could make some things myself, liek the boss spawns and stuff but what i would really need this person for is to truelly make the bosses good and interactive instead of just big
And as for the actual story i have it in my head and i will not post it untill the trailer or maybe evan after that. But the very simple outline would be soemthing like:
You have been fighting on the the battle field right untill you seen the wide wings streching across the battle field. No one else seemed to notice it. You relise your time has come, You have been chosen by a Valkyrie to go to Valhalla and join the endless fight. A place where there is no good, no evil just and endless fight. However you see the Valkyrie once more. She tells you this place is no longer safe. Portals have been shredding here and there as other gods and creatures want to invade this paradise. You must protect this place.
Before you join me in making this map i think it is only fair to warn you about two things. First of all i am planning to make this Open-Source so anyone will be able to view it in World Editor. And second am crazy
and i can be litle nooby sometimes so i would ask you to have some patiance.
