CDs are overrated by Blizzard today anyway. You can even register your game on battle.net, download the game as many times as you want and play.

As if anyone cares if you have original war3 or not these days, with the free hacking and bots over bnet. OP, do you know how to use the thing that goes under the name 'Internet'?? If you googled you wouldn't have to create such thread, instead, you would get a result about not having the correct patch and if you got latest patch it wouldn't require a CD. Judging by your name, question, the game you are trying to start (which has lower average age of players than some other RTS games) and lack of common sense, I don't give you more than 15 years, maybe you are 13 years old or younger? Don't tell me, I don't care, only analyzing. I know I could've become a psychologist too.
