How would I go about makeing a burrowing ability and when they are burrowed they gain increased life regeneration? Also how would I make an ability that counts how many attacks you have done and when a certain amount has been reached they gain increased damage and attack speed.

Pretty sure there's already an ability called Burrow, it's the Cryptfiend's ability.

Then for the other question there isn't a definitive and easy way to track whether or not you actually hit a unit. You can however on a spell casts use an incrementing variable to track the number of casted spells/abilities.

Well I was thinking you might be able to do something with "poison" (the one that poisons on hit) like that one guy was doing with bash.

You just have to keep your "attacking unit" and "attacked unit" matching up so multiple units don't mess up your counting.
