HELP: Make a circle region using trigger

Hi guys,

I'm trying to make a spell using a region variable, but Im not sure how to set up a circular region variable. Can anyone help please?


I currently have a point variable, and the spell is like Blizzard.
When casting spell, set point as where the spell is cast, and then I'm trying to set the region variable to a circle, which has radius = 200 and the centre of the circle is the point variable.

You cannot create a circle region.

You can detect all units in a circle around a point with other means though.
If you google that you'll find dozens of examples.

You can use distance from a center unit and other units arround it or directly picking a group of units within a region.

Or if you really want to use a region, you can move one to your wanted location, pick all units in that region and check if they are in X range of the center, getting yourself a circle. That's basically what Chaosy said

Use the event "a unit comes within the range of ..." then use a dummy for it.

That's how DotA use it.
