help, i can't download wc3 maps when i press download.

I'm using windows 10, Browser is Opera.

No firewall, nor any anti-virus that could block the site.

But when i try to download, i just hit download like i always did before (4 years ago when i last played wc3 on an older PC) but on this PC now i get this

Sometimes that happens, but I know it's temporary.

I use OPERA as well and sometimes it does block out sites randomly.

Maybe try turning your computer off and on or refresh your browser and its cookies.

i tried both, but still got the same issue. tried the default edge browser that comes with windows, and it's the same, i can't download anything for some reason it says server took too long to respond.

@Ralle It appears you are summoned again for a download issue, not sure why some users are experiencing this.

i've asked a friend of mine that lives literally next door, to download it for me, as he had no issues, i'm just having to wait for him to read my msg, and send me the maps thru discord pm (or if it's too big, something like google drive or other sites like catbox)

Did you try the Legacy Download button?

try with free proxys/VPN addon/extension if you cant download maybe is for firewall/antivirus/security default configs

if you are using opera, activated the native vpn option and try to download again. It maybe help to bypass this issue.

I haven't encounter an issue when download something in Chrome, but pretty much what someone said in the posts above:
1.Use the "Legacy Download" option.
2.If you are using Opera, make sure the built-in browser's VPN is disabled.

This worked for me thx! (i'm almost blind so i didn't see the legacy download text on the edge of the download box)
