[Trigger] Help finding 4 points of unit.

I was wondering if it was possible to find those four points on a unit with a trigger (or in jass).

Any help would be nice. +rep.

I need this for a attack in one of my maps.

I think you need to edit the model, and make attachment points there.

Not through in game scripts.
You have to open the model... and I have not done this so I can't tell you exactly what to do, but generally all those points are listed somewhere.
Search the forum for attachment points or something.

This doesn't clarify anything.
Do you need the unit's ATTACK (as in a normal attack), or do you want a spell that will do it?

Each time it attack or casts a spell, i want it to fire one shot for each of those four points. I know all but the way to find the points.

Than you need such animation on the model.

as far as I know, the unit can only have one missile point, so you would need a missile that would fit perfectly on those points ((if you tell me what the missile is I can work on it) (I would also need the model))

Impossiable. You can however predect where they will be if the animation does not move them and you know where the model is EG on a unit. You simply use offsets from the unit centre.

Like DSG said, just set the missiles' positions to an estimate of where you think the points will be in relation to the centre of the unit.

Wouldn't that be a problem if the unit rotate due to movement?

Right, If you made it the same model file for the 4 missiles and imported it... Seems extremely easy to me..

You could also ask someone to edit the model so it has a missile point in the middle of those 4 points and make one missile that represents all four(you know, 1 model but four effects).

I thought of that, but made it last sulution since all missiles explode at once if i do that, and i want all my missiles to be able to strike different units.

I just don't think there is a way to do it with it hitting four different targets.

Of course it's possible! You'd just have to code the missiles.

I just want it to fire four shot in the same direction, if a enemy is only so close that it is hit by a single, two or tree shots, the rest'll just continue on, hitting random stuff like meteors in their way. And it should be MUI

No multishots, allright... So what you need are 4 jassed missiles with colision detection and a set direction. Jass aint my area but if you need help with maths, i'll be here.

The projectiles aren't hard at all. You will need to find out the locations of your starting positions according to your model, though (with 1000000000 tests).
