WIN. Just for that, I'll answer your out-of-place post.

Never tried to do so myself, but seems relatively simple; just make a modified Shockwave and set all the "damage" fields to negative values (shift+click, or in the WE itself set "file->preferences" to "allow negative values").

Nope, regrettably it's hardcoded not to work, I tried it just now. Or maybe it has something to do with the maximum damage value?

Regardless, this belongs in World Editor Help Zone. Can some mod move it there?

Same deal for the alternatives? (Carrion Swarm, Crushing Wave, etc)

Checked, Carrion Swarm doesn't do the trick either, so Crushing Wave wouldn't too, I guess.
