A paranoia-based map where a few randomly-selected players are trying to kill everyone...but no one knows who they are.

Offers six standard scenarios with villains that have various special powers, plus additional unlockable scenarios.

Has a customized combat system that rewards sneak attacks and encourages paranoia.

Automatically restarts when a game ends, so you can play several times (or several different scenarios) without the need to remake the game. The more times in a row you're an ordinary Happyvillian, the greater your chances of being the villain in the next game!

Although I haven't been able to play it yet, as I can't host, this seems like an excellent map with the potential to become one of the all-time favorites on battle.net.
Meh. Someone host it.

Great map and great fun! IggyZ is right, it has great potential. Yet there are a few definate annoyances that everyone I played with expressed.
The single most annoying thing is the camera. I understand that the camera is part of the style of the game, but it's impossibly hard to control yourself with WC3's control system, and there's really no way to make a better one without using a different game. The camera annoyance really holds back the game. I could feel myself getting motion sickness just from watching it bob back and forth.
The second lesser annoyance is the unforgivability of the game, especially for people who are backstabbed (accidentally or on purpose). Its truly annoying to be backstabbed 5 times in a row, and its also annoying to kill yourself when you kill someone who you were (almost)POSITIVE was the unhappy one. Perhaps the players could be forgiven once or twice?

Anyway, great map! I'd also encourage the use of a custom minimap because the default one doesn't do the map justice. It probably scares away some newbies. I'm glad that it didn't scare away me. :p

Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad you're enjoying the map.

It's difficult to incorporate much forgiveness into a game where the bad guy's safety lies mostly in his anonymity. However, there's a new unlockable game in version 1.2 called "Age of Myth" which you might like (password "bloodlines"). It allows each player to choose a special power, and one of the powers is the ability to revive once after dying. Another power is a special attack that doesn't have remorse. Of course, I'm not at all certain of that scenario's balance just yet.

Other than that, I suggest thinking of the next scenario as your "second chance." The rounds generally end relatively quickly, and then you've got a clean slate. You'll also probably find you get better at avoiding backstabs as you play more.

Regarding the camera, if you have any suggestions about how to improve it (without introducing other problems), I'm happy to hear them. The camera is important not only to the style of the game, but to its balance as well (letting you sneak up behind people), so I think a bird's-eye camera would ruin the map. I could make the camera respond faster to your facing changes, but then it would seem more jittery when your character turns to go around obstacles. I could make it respond more slowly, to smooth that out, but then you wouldn't be able to make the camera turn around as quickly, which can be a problem when turning a corner, or when you suddenly hear someone's dying scream right behind you.
