Improve the center of the map, remove the seal from the water, it's a big city, you don't expect a big seal to be in the small pool.
Fix the positioning of the buildings placed at the edges, some of them are not placed glued to each other and one of them is falling down into the water.
And why did you place buildings in the water?
Make more use of the flower doodads and place some at the starting locations.
A goblin merchant would also be nice, find points to place them. (Perhaps around the tavern)

I played a game or so of the map, Theres not many mob spawns to be honest i found that it was quite plain alot of the land is flat and theres no notable features except for the waterfalls? but even those areas are flat, it would be nice if there were some more mob areas possibly in the town, the game was okay too but i think you just need to improve the terrain preferably do work on making the town better, make more use of the fog of war because i can just run around and not be afraid of an ambush or anything simply because i can see in all directions

But it was fun having battles in the middle of the city xD and i like how easy it is to get across and harass the other players early game. I also like the fact the middle has the tavern with extra heroes :) I think with more work on the terrain it could be better for now i would give it a 2/5

Why are there buidings on the water? O.0 it makes no sense at all but i agree with Devilsmate that was pretty decent for a first attempt 3/5

I really like symmetrical maps such as yours. Very blizzard-like style map.
But there are some things to point out. Definitely needs more doodads, some more trees would be nice too, more creeps at the center. As Devilsmate said the terrain is flat which isn't very good. 3/5. Please do improve it.

This is the standard map "venetia" from Blizzard it self, so yea, very blizzard-like. xD
