I was pleasantly surprised by this map: the terrain is certainly a good point, you've placed the doodads well and the city doesn't look all too random, the story was good in my opinion... it felt melancholic and I do believe that the story has a purpose.
I personally like the fact that he did not even try to run away, it emphasizes the melancholy I've felt during the rest of the cinematic.

The music: beautiful... nothing to say about that (perhaps because I love Dream Theater and Killswitch Engage), but it still really fits in the map.

The camera could use some work, it didn't go really smooth (because you used waits?), but when looking in general, the camera was used a lot and it was used in a good way (it didn't obstruct anything, it didn't do any sudden movements).

Edit: I forgot to mention that your English is really good, I love cinematics which do not contain bad grammar or typo's.
Perhaps a bad side is that there is no sound... the last scene with sound could've been amazing.

Terrain was excellent. 10+.
The story was really good, too. You could have continued it though, like he tries to survive there. +8.
Lag: It lagged a bit on the forest, but nothing else. +9.
No typos or others. +10.
No crashes or anything 10+.
Points: 47/50 = 5/5 Recommended.

Then when he "sleeps", model is playing animations, fix that.

And when he is leaving house, why the hell he stay at door for cca 15 sec. and then leaved? It looks lame.

Camera wasnt smooth, use more cameras with "apply camera 0 sec" (for how long will I write this again and again, thats basic of camera-usage?)

This sentence in itself is an epic fail, there is fog in every scene you *****.

Then when he "sleeps", model is playing animations, fix that.

The animations that he plays while sleeping are intentionally put there, otherwise that entire scene would be static.

And when he is leaving house, why the hell he stay at door for cca 15 sec. and then leaved? It looks lame.

Not sure what the cca part means, he does not stay at the door for anywhere near 15 seconds, and the reason he stays at the door for circa 3 seconds is because he is reflecting upon his decision

there may be fog in every scene, but kind of invisible or what, becouse I didnt recognise it, that means no fog for me.


it just needed "stay animation" while he was in bed, nothing else, it will be not static if he do it proper way.

No it probably isn't going to have a sequel. But just for your information if you had read the last line then you would know why he isn't running. Thank you for ruining the story btw.

Main Points (Listed in order from greatest to least):

[6] No spelling errors. (This is a major plus, compared to many maps in this section)
[4] Terrain was good.

[4] Includes custom music which fits well into the theme.
[3] For the most part, there were no bugs or any lag, but in the forest I encountered some.
[3] For the most part, the camera was smooth.
[1] I liked the fact that you can see the zombies inside the buildings, and the ghoul on top, it gives you a feel of whats coming.
[-1] When he is sleeping, you should change the animations to only stand - 1 because for me he folded his arms and this looked really weird.
[-1] As previously stated, he stops for about 3 seconds at the door. However, if he is supposed to be thinking, you should have a transmission from him saying thus. If not, he should just leave without the stop.
[-4] Cintematic was too short, in the beginning it seemed as if it was part of something bigger, but apparently not.
Overall: 3/5 Vote for approval

Well the Terrain is awesome, but PLEASE put alot more effort in it and make the story go deeper and longer, because the ending was freakin boring

Dude, I dont understood why he let the zombies kill him too. So, what the history is about? The guy lost his familiy, he got depressed, and comited suicide? This cinematic is kind... depressing. Seriously, I could live without watching this =.=

By anyway, the terrain is pretty nice. Nice light effects you have here with those windows. you deserve a 4/5 for it.

Well, but that is not clear in the cinematic. When it says he was the only survivor, there are lots of ways that can happen. Maybe during the fire he was in the woods hunting, or something. That possibility never came to my mind.

I understand that, and that is precisely the reason why I didn't 'spoon feed' that to the viewer in the cinematic. I believe that a story where parts are left to the viewer's imagination are far superior to the stories where you sit there, watch/read it and don't have to think about anything. You leave thinking and feeling nothing and I didn't want the cinematic to be like that.

a few things about your map.

It was an okay map. Its a bit lacking. I think it coulda been better

- Music/sounds in your cinematic didn't fit to well ( bad quality etc.. )
- The terrain was average. everything was very plain.
- The lag in the part where he walks to the destroyed village is annoying. i suggest making that better.

+ I liked the idea, how it was simple, and kinda mysterious in a way. However you shoulda be a bit more clear on the story. Im not quiete sure why it was his fault....

+ I liked the undead coming to get him. that was kinda good.

over all you need to improve this. Im giving it a 2/5. but if you improve it, ill raise my vote.

Yeah man, I understand that, but it is a lot unclear. You should put something that says about "bad things" he did in the past, some tips for people know what it is about.



Seriously, those things that are too much mysterios that makes over than half people dont know what it is about never gets popular.

Gets scary when he just walks into the devastated town and you can see the zombies & ghouls through the walls and on the roofs.
I don't remember anything wrong with the terrain, forest looked good i guess.

Feels like nothing's moving. At least show us some of his nightmares, you put the guy on totally black terrain and make horrible things happen, i dunno...
I don't feel his guilt, he doesnt explain much about it, or maybe i missed something in the texts?.. I mean that's the reason why he didnt try to escape, right?
Too much mystery may kill the understanding.

You seem to not accept negative criticism but maybe it was just with this guy?

Gonna give a 3/5.

2.5/5. Needs to be explicit. I mean it was understandable that he might be responsible for something but everything is so rushed. Some scenes with him before the event happened would have helped.
